MeSys GmbH pleased with course of ICE 2022

State-of-the-art non radiometric system solutions for flat web material of the company convinces trade visitors

MeSys GmbH, manufacturer of radiation-free, non-radiometric system solutions for thickness and basis weight measurement of flat web materials, looks back on a successful ICE 2022. “We were able to convince the trade visitors with our system solutions portfolio. Especially our traversing system for thin film applications were in big demand”, explains Prof. Dr. Daniel Eggerath, operational managing director of MeSys GmbH. The traversing ultrasonic systems deliver – thanks to their accurate technology and an intelligent same spot analysis – very precise results. Thus, application rates of the magnitude of less than 1g/m2 can exactly be measured by same spot.
In addition to the traversing systems, the specialists presented their software solution in the field of data intelligence. The software has already proven itself to many customers around the globe with its reliability, fault detection, flexibility and intuitive use – emphasizing that the seamless control and visualization of data obtained is, next to exact measurements of product properties, of utmost importance.
In addition to the process control solutions, MeSys exhibited the LABscan measuring device for off-line measurement that offers real-time measurement of basis weight, thickness, and density. When using the ultrasonic measurement method, a resolution of up to 0.001 g/m2 is achieved for basis weight. A confocal laser measurement method is used to determine thickness down to 0.5 µm. “We are very satisfied with the outcome of the fair and are sure that we have convinced many trade visitors of the quality of our systems”, concludes Dr. Daniel Eggerath.
